BIM Local I'm interested

Open *.rvt locally in your browser. No upload. No rendering. Full data access.

We’re validating interest in a tool that safely processes BIM files (*.rvt) entirely client‑side (in the browser) to read project structure, extract schedules, parameters and metadata, and run quick checks/calculations — without sending your file to the cloud.

• Focus: data extraction and calculations. • 3D model rendering is not planned in the first iteration.
What could be available:
  • Read project and family metadata
  • Extract parameters, schedules, quantities
  • Quantity/cost estimation based on parameters
  • Rule-based compliance checks
  • Data export: CSV/JSON
Your files stay with you: processing happens locally in the browser.

Why this matters

Key value for BIM teams and related stakeholders

Privacy

Data never leaves the device. No risk of sharing files with third parties.

Speed

No upload wait time. Parameters and calculations instantly.

Flexibility

Customizable rules and scenarios: from parameter checks to quantity takeoffs.

Integrations

Export to CSV/JSON; plug into your BI/PM/ERP pipelines.

How it could work

1. Local parsing

A web engine processes .rvt directly in the browser (WebAssembly), accessing structure and parameters.

2. Data extraction

Extract metadata, schedules, element relationships, and parameters.

3. Local checks

Run lightweight rules/checks and calculations without sending data to a server.

Note: focus is on data and calculations. 3D model rendering isn’t planned for the first iteration.

Frequently asked questions

Will there be 3D viewing?

Not in the first iteration. We focus on data and calculations. Rendering may come later if there is demand.

Which export formats?

Planned: CSV and JSON, then API integrations with your systems.

Is internet required?

Not for the basic scenario. Everything runs locally in the browser.

Support for large files?

It depends on device/browser. Tell us your typical file sizes in the form.
